1949 norinco double barrel model 99

hello i have gotten a 1949 norinco double barrel model 99 shotgun but i dont know a lot about it.
im hoping someone can give me some information on it or direct me to a site that can tell me what its worth

I question your date (1949) or you made a typo because Norinco did not exist in 1949 and according to the Blue Book the Model 99 Coach shotgun importation did not start until 1999.
The gun is listed as being in 12 gauge only with 20 inch barrel and the values given are:
MSR,$251, 100%-$215,98%-$200, 95%-185, 90%-$170, 80%-$155, 70%-$145 and 60%-$135.

i did not make a typo on the date me and my brother were wondering about the date until we cleaned it and found that atleast 4 to 5 part have 1949 manufacture date clearly on them. thank you for the information you posted on the company i will look in to calling them about it. but if anyone has anymore information on it please let me know

Very few gun makers put dates made on their guns. Could you be mistaking the serial number for a date and yes the gun was made in China. The name I gave you is for the importer. Norinco is a state run manufactured and run by the Communist Government in China. In 1949 the Communist and the Nationalist were involved in a civil war and were not making guns for export.
