I don't think much of the gel pads. Kick-eez is good. The limbsaver is a good pad. My son uses them & they work. I just don't know how they will hold up for long term shooting.

 

Forget about the gel-tek. I prefer Kickezz. I just didn't like the sharp edges on the limbsaver.

 

for me the only problem i had with the thin factory pad was the contour, and the dremmel fixed that (actually screwed up the thin one, and had to grind the thick on the whole way down).

 

Don't count out of the gel-tek pad. I have one on 682 and love it. I had it on a 391 and moved to the 682. Works great.

 

Limbsaver and I do believe they make one that is already sized for your gun. Big difference between that and a factory pad.

 

The gel-tek pad that came on my Teknys gold sporting was the pits. It got rock hard in less than 6 months. :shock:

I emailed Limbsaver asking them if one of their two pre fitted Beretta pads would fit the 682, the answer was "We don't know". I guess I was asking if anyone out there had a limbsaver pad already on their 682 and if so whether or not it was one that was pre-fitted or one that you had to grind down yourself.

Just for anyone who is interested, the large Beretta Pre Fit pad does fit the 682. It isn't an exact fit, but it comes damn close.
