It's a bit early to call the ball, but I simply can't believe sista girl is being billed as star witness, key to the success of the prosecution's case.

If that's all they have, there will be rioting in the streets when a favorable verdict is handed to the accused.

Let's make this shotgun related. Y'all think the courtroom security team is using shotguns? Or AR's?

Hopefully justice prevails.

But then lookout for the firestorm.

Just saw an out of state Lexus yesterday, being driven by a nice looking black girl, wearing a "Thug Life" tee shirt.

Arrests and charges filed are should be based on probable cause. Surely the facts and circumstances as well as the evidence in this case was carefully reviewed for that standard to be met. Both the State's Attorney and a Judge would have approved an arrest warrant, not likely without an extremely high level of scrutiny. I also recognize there was tremendous public outcry and pressure mounting in this matter. Hopefully the correct decisions were made. Hopefully true justice will have been served when all is said and done.

Neither you nor I know all of the facts and evidence in this case.
You probably missed the part where Special Prosecutor Angela Corey dismissed the Grand Jury and declared her teams mission to be to find "justice for Trayvon". And the President saying that if he had a son, he'd "look like Trayvon". Yep, all about the justice.

Pathetic that the star witnes is a lier, can't even read he own written letter and is a high school grad that cant read cursive. Are lawyers so lazy today they don't even vett their own witnesses? Oh wiat with the Liberal Assclown we have here I don't ned an answer to that.

A friend just sent me a message.
She said "I miss my lawyer, but my aim is improving"!

She also sent her picture with an AR, and a tee shirt that said "Shove gun control up your", and a picture of the red, white and blue ***."

This case has been all about "race politics" since the national media got involved. It was clear to the police and the elected Florida prosecutors that Zimmerman shot Martin only after Zimmerman begged Martin to stop pounding his head on the concrete and called out for help. This case should have never been brought, it should have been tossed by the judge if it had been brought, and if Zimmerman is convicted it should be reversed on appeal.

What passes for "news" today is often either propaganda or sensationalism, or both.

If it's all about race politics, where was the outrage when the star witness revealed that Travon called Zimmerman a "crazy a$$ cracker"?
Exactly! I saw a talking head on CNN last night saying "it's a different culture and words don't mean the same thing in other cultures" or something to that effect, yet at the same time Paula Dean is being crucified for using the N word. It makes my blood boil!

Do you ever get splinters in your nuts?

"Race politics" today is entirely one sided against white people. It does not work the other way.

For example, there is zero concern over rioting by white people if Zimmerman is convicted.

It's the worst kind of hypocrisy, and it does not do anything but divide the races further, IMO.

There is racism, and it exists against blacks by whites and against whites by blacks. There is also a fair and colorblind way to administer the law, which should be scrupulously followed with no regard for race whatsoever. Instead we see this trial were the only reason Zimmerman is on trial for anything is his race and the opposite race of the man who assaulted him by pounding his head on the concrete without stopping.

It's wrong for the law to do that to Zimmerman, and it's wrong for the media to encourage black racism against whites. And there's nothing we can do about except watch it all play out on the screen.

A criminal trail is always and only about finding justice for the defendant. The state has the burden of proof. All doubtful questions are resolved in favor of the man who is on trial for his freedom. There is not any legal room for such an idea as "Justice for Trayvon" in Zimmerman's criminal trial. Yet the media is going to be first on the scene to document the 'black outrage" if finally the legal system does what it should do and find Zimmerman not guilty, by reason of self defense.

So why do you vote for the peole that perpetuate race divisions and the victim mentality? Why do you persist in putting your self up as a moderate good ol boy when we all know that you help to vote the people into office that do everything you come here and rail against?

Again mods why is he here he will not answer this question? "Lightening rod for controversy and enjoys seeing the resulting ruckus?
Typically finds a round about way to belittle those that disagree?"

Or do we have a double standard for those on the left and right?

Does the trail of tears count as discrimination? Or are we talking discrimination on this board?

The thing I find most amazing is the fact that people are
still coming out against Zimmerman on the news analysis
shows. After all the testimony I just cannot figure out
how they can still hold this guy guilty, but a few are still
doing it. One idiot said something like this, "Zimmerman
took a gun to a fist fight." He had no more argument
than that. I guess his point was that Zim should have
just let Martin beat him as long as he felt like it, after
all it was a fist fight, don't you know? My thoughts
on it are that Martin went to a gun fight and did not even
have brains enough to take his knife, but that is just me.
Reminds me of an old Richard Pryor routine, goes like this.

Richard tells his dad he is going out on a date,
His father asks, "you got protection?"
Richard says, "I got this here knife."
Father says, "you idiot, here take my gun".
