What did you pay for it? We know it originally sold for $12,200 in 1996.
According to an inflation calculator, it about doubled in price.

R.EPeterson from Guns& Ammo was the original owner must have liked I/C 🤷‍♂️ l got it for 9000

 

Really beautiful gun ! As far as the question on choice of barrel and choke configuration well hard to guess? Maybe shooting Flyers in a ring ? The quality of the gun could make sense? Value .....? $15K ?
