I have never seen a barrel extension for an 870 like what Bobcat posted. The only one I can think of off the top of my head is the one Tristar makes to lengthen the barrel on their Viper youth gun. Why not just buy another 870 barrel. They are pretty plentiful and often reasonably priced. I have bought 870 barrels off this site cheaper than that extension.

 

You obviously haven't checked barrel prices lately.

 

3 months ago I paid $75 for a express barrel with vent rib and 1 choke from this site.

They are very good , I used them until I started making my own. They are better than my home made ones because they are cnc machined and hot blued whereas my home made ones are done on a conventional lathe and cold blued. Also mine are made from barrel cut offs and his are new run modern. barrel steel. If you need a longer barrel his are the way to go. the only down side is you have an un ribbed section of barrel.
