I am new to this shotgun and would appreciate any help you may give me to figure out accessories and reliability. I have noticed a very small extractor; is this a problem.

I would like add a two shot tube extension w/pistol grip. I have contacted CDNN about the pistol grip stock with no luck. Does anyone know where to buy a pistol grip stock for it. It seems the tube extension is out, and the add on surefire flashlight[might] slow it down to prevent cycling[as read about the Tacstar side saddle].

I have read every post concerning the 1201FP, every time someone states, I bought it here; nope it's no longer carried there. If any Benelli people will tell me which of there stock will/might fit, I would be most appreciative.

Please PM with info or just post it.

Thank you.. :D

This pistolgrip stock from the M1S90 will fit for sure. They come up for sale once in a while. I have one on my FP model.

You will not be able to fit the sling plate though. The bolt on the 1201FP is too short to hold the sling plate and the nut. Actually, the nut will go on the bolt, but in my experience, it will not bite onto enough thread to hold it securely.

Then there's the 1201FP factory PG stock shown below.

Not sure if the Benelli M4 stock would fit on a Beretta. Never tried it myself. As it appears below, the M4 receiver looks very similar to the 1200FP, if not the same, looks like it just might do if you can find one.

Good luck.

Thanks, right.

I really like the M1S90 PG stock on my gun. I like the control I have with it, feel and fit of this PG to my hand is perfect. Nice ergonomics most of all. Points very naturally for me.

I've replaced the safety button with an oversized one and the bolt lever with a larger, more controllable one.

I love that gun.

Never really felt the need for an extension. I don't usually need more in the tube than 6 shells. :) Practicing speed reloads while shooting for practice has served me better than a few extra rounds. Mind you, I do this with an 870 most times. :)

Regards.

I agree with you on the need for more then 6. I would like the extra tube space so as to prevent any premature tube spring failure or excessive compression of same. I can't find any tube extensions for it, Beretta has not responded to my e mails for advice, so I am in the dark in that aspect.

Do you have any hints as to where buy the stock besides E Bay[I want to push the envelope, speedfed type w/rounds in stock?].

How about a forestock flashlight setup, do you know if there is a "for sure" surefire model. I have one on my 590 and am very happy with it[along with the speedfed stock with rounds].

Best Regards,
Scott

CDNN doesn't have a Beretta stock, but they do have a Benelli stock made by Speedfeed that will fit your gun. It is the shorter stock, which I liked even though I am 6'3". It didn't come with any directions and didn't bolt up right away. I had to get a washer from Lowes so that the bolt would have something to mount to. You will see what I mean when/if you get it. For $40 shipped, it is as good a bargain as you are going to find. Plus the recoil pad is nicer than the factory one.

The Benelli factory stock, which goes for about $100 used, is a little nicer. It has a rubber overlay on the pistol grip. It is also a little more ergonomic than the Speedfeed one. The Speedfeed one is blocker, but it does seem to spread out the recoil.

Surefire does make a deticated light for the Beretta. It hasn't been produced/marketed for several years, but I believe they still have old stock on hand. You can keep an eye out for them as well. I see them pop up time to time. The is a post about it here on the forum. Do a search for Beretta 1201FP and it should come up.

Thank you for the great info,

I kept saying to myself[not out loud] be patient and the info will turn..

By any chance is that CDNN stock with or without the speedfed in stock rounds. I know the pic doesn't show it, but I can always hope..

I will check the post out for the surefire part numbers.

Thanks again to all..

Thanks for the advice, I ordered the stock, they threw in shooting glasses, pretty cool..

What size washer is needed ?? "I had to get a washer from Lowes so that the bolt would have something to mount to."

I have called them in the past, finally had something for me. Now to seek sights, any suggestions on who makes them, what type are available? maybe Ghost Ring. I want to avoid the airsoft strap on look. I really like my 590 setup and am trying to duplicate it with the Beretta 1201FP.

I have to wait for the surefire to come around, To pricey as currently priced e.g. Midway etc..

Maybe this for the front
