I have never been a fan of the looks of the 694 (or std DT11) for that matter but I find the 694DLC much better looking
It would probably look OK with the black laminate off the 688?

 

694 would be a LOT nicer looking gun without the weird contours on the receiver and the goofy looking forend. Make the receiver look like a 682, and put a 694 DTL forend on, and the gun would look 1000x better.

Beauty is I the eye of the beholder and I prefer the looks of the 694 Sporting just fine.

 

It almost looks like a poor man’s SL2.
I would have preferred gold (or silver) for the inlay lines, but I like the black DLC. At least they didn’t make the receiver Smurf blue…

I enjoy my Smurf blue A400, but its an autoloader with fake wood grain. Not such a good color for a nice o/u.

 

I’m guessing they still have them in stock!

When I was considering a DT11 dlc, I asked Cole gun if they could remove the ugly racing stripe. They don’t love doing it but they will. Not sure if that would go for this one too or not.

 

Can they remove the awful carbon fiber rib? Or are you stuck with that 🤣

 

Saw the DT11 version of this while at Jaquas several months ago - fughly. Didn't even bother to pick it up!
The DT11 Black no carbon is sooo much better looking, especially with nice lumber..
The 688 black laminate would be the perfect trifecta for the DLC 694 finish, carbon rib, and "wood"- fughly x 3.
Ugly is in the eye of the beholder, also.

 

I just wished Beretta would sell a barrel for 694 as an accessory a top single barrel low rib so Sporting Stock would work in 34-35inch for Trap Singles and Handicap. I do not like unsingles looks.

Pretty sure the new pricing on regular 694's is around 6k now. I'd expect these to be 7k+, but that's just a guess.

I like the look. I prefer black relievers; a silver receiver isn't a deal breaker. Tramway rib on a Stellium Pro barrel is good. Like both. Blurs reason for buying DT11 a little. Can beretta put a straight rib on a 694?

 

Certainly makes the 694 a reasonable option for high volume shooters who might prefer the liveliness and fit over the DT11.

The weight/feel and durability (rounds between service) of the DT11 is still quite a bit differentiated from the 694. And detachable trigger, if you care about that.

I prefer the visibility around the 694 receiver but the weight of the DT11 makes it a super steady gun. Haven’t voted with my money though, just shot them both through friends or demos.

 

I'm sure with the TSK stk it's going to hit 7000

AHI, pay little attention to Tin. If it doesn't say K or P he has a dislike for Beretta's.

 

I really like berettas.But I think they’re over priced and not well made.
Now Caesar guerini, that’s a different story.

 

First of all it’s spelled Fudd. Second, do not use Elmer’s name in a negative way. He is way cooler than any internet cowboy.

As for the gun I like DLC and the improved forend design is great. Not so sure about the smoooooth.
