Oh, man, that’s even uglier than the fish-scale look on 725’s.

 

NOTHING is uglier than the gold “bubbles” on the 725. This might be close, but not uglier lol

 

I’m not a fan but it’s better than the large 28 on the A400 upland 28 gauge.

 

I love it. Reminds of the scales on a version of Browning’s 725, which I also think looks fantastic.

 

I like it, even if it is just cosmetic. Then again, I'm kind of digging the new 688 with its plain but serious look.

 

I wonder how many they will make. Is it a small number like the Golds?

 

Looks great, I do wish there were more standard finish options on these guns.

For those who are interested- Cole Gun will remove the blue racing stripe on the standard version if you ask them nicely (and pay).

Honestly I kind of like it. DTs aren't meant to be Best game guns, I'm perfectly fine with them departing from traditional engraving patterns.

 

It’s enamel paint. How hard could it possibly be to remove? I like it. It’s simple, and clean. And 100% better than anything browning has ever put on a sporter

 

Beautiful gun. But, from looking at the TGS video, it is very evident that the pores of the wood are very open. Not what I’d want on an oil finish. One would hope that, at the cost of this gun, Beretta could provide a quality wood finish. It seems Beretta has backed off quality oil finishes for the past decade.

Beretta's wood finishes are crap until you get to SL2 prices, it's ridiculous.
