What are people’s thoughts on the DT10 in 2024? This past summer I had the opportunity to shoot some skeet with a DT11 and loved it.

I’ve found a few used DT10’s in great condition with low (relatively speaking) round counts. The DT10 gives me room in my budget for a custom ergosign stock.

I shoot competitively so I’m looking for something that’s going to stand up to 15,000+ rounds per year. From everything I’ve seen the DT line from beretta is the most popular choice for high volume shooters.

Anyone have any thoughts?

The DT10 was introduced by Beretta as a lower cost alternative to the ASE Gold which was largely hand made and expensive. The DT10 is very similar to the ASE gun but with much much less hand work at a lower price point. They are very good, reliable guns that seem to hold their value well. I own a DT10 combination trap gun and have used it for years with no trouble whatsoever.

I’ve been shooting a DT10 for a few years now. I’ve also shot the DT11, and I did not care for the stock as much, but other than that it was very similar. Whatever you want to do, the DT can do it as much as you’d like. Beretta was actually kind enough to give mine a rebuild at no charge during the 2024 World Sporting.
