My other O/U, supposedly a cheapie according to what I’ve been able to find. No markings on the barrels, no idea what chokes, it’s fun to shoot though. And I shoot it much better than a Yildiz I bought and tried which I could hit anything with….

Never shot one. Have seen a few for sale over the years. I think K mart sold them. Somewhere I saw a quote something like "the worst gun in the country". But that was quite a while ago and Bonito might have been surpassed in badness since then. However if you like it and it shoots well for you then great news. Until it breaks which may or may not happen. If it is working and you like to shoot it is worth more to you than you are likely to get selling it. The last one I saw in a shop for sale was in very good condition and was priced at $400. But in a shop that prices everything about double what it would generally thought to be worth. The guy will keep a gun 3 or 4 years to try to get his price. And often does. I doubt if he paid $50 for it though. Probably came in an estate deal.

Almost everyone hates these, but will mention that one of the members of our community clays group bought one at the height of the pandemic when nothing else was available. He shot it very well and over the three year span that I shot with the group, he had zero problems with the gun. Not pretty, but completely functional.
