Hello,
Im a new member here, This is my 1st post on the forum.
I purchased a CZ Redhead premier o/u shotgun from Cabelas just yesterday. It had taken 2 people behind the counter 20 minutes, to get the barrel onto the reciever.
Its super tight! However its so tight that Im unable to get it on myself, it is EXTREMELY difficult, Ive been trying for so long that my hands
are sore, Ive been succesfull only about 3x over the last 2 days, this is extremely frustrating. Ive tried Lithium grease today, in which
I had a bit more luck, however very inconsistently. The problem with this is that I have a rare form of arthritis which really bothers my hands, so I
really need to get a remedy for this issue.
Would you recommend:
1. Sending it back to CZ
2. Bring it to my local gunsmith to see if they can remedy the situation.
Im thinking option 2 might make sense, because its probably wise to have a gunsmith go over the new shotgun anyhow?
thanks very much for your responses!
