Just got a notice from NSCA that Brandon has been banned for life as of 6/12/2017.
What the heck happened this time. I was at the shoot off super finals and never heard a thing.
Anyone have a clue??

No one should have anything to say on here until the NSCA has posted as to why this happened.
Why do you think the NSCA will post anything about this?

Sounds like a personal matter between Mr. Powell and the NSCA. If I was banned for life after winning the US Open, I surely wouldn't want the public at large to be privy to my personal business.

Vaguely remember (perhaps mistakenly) that his Dad threatened legal action during a previous go around. If the NSCA banned Brandon for life, it's a good bet that they probably have decent paperwork supporting why they did so. If they don't, they should gather it up and organize it as a just-in-case.

I think we should wildly speculate about what happened, just to see who comes up with the most ridiculous scenario that would cause a lifetime ban.

I heard he bit the head off a live bat and peed on a director's desk while wearing high heels and reciting the title tune from "Singing in the Rain"....

In typical NSSA style, they issued the ban AFTER the EC from the NSCA unanimously exonerated Brandon. They never served him with any formal allegations telling him exactly what they think he did or didn't do, nor did they ever give him a chance to tell his side of the story.

It is going to be the Lawyer's Relief Act of 2017 before it is all over. What ever you think about Brandon, what they did to him is wrong and it is going to cost them In the long run.

So he was put on 2 years probation for not shouldering his gun while firing it????????

Wow!

Maybe he should be locked up for 30 years and made to do hard labor for that offense! Other people get applause and get paid for doing the same thing..... or perhaps worse, like riding a bicycle while shooting a gun behind their neck and over their shoulder. Yep, lock him up and throw away the key.

Your information is wrong or intentionally one-sided.

Why is it that so many feel they "have" to know what all goes on in situations like this ? I'm sure there's things in most everyone's life's that they would rather not have folks that don't have a clue what the real story is spouting off on Social Media about it.

And If at some time the parties involved want to make public something then so be it.

In deals like this there there's usually 3 sides to the story The NSCA/NSSA's side, the Powell familys side and the actual story which is somewhere between the two.

Carry on and yes guess I'm just an ole fart and which believes most things need to stay private and respect the privacy of others and remember to try and follow the Golden Rule.

I guess I am wondering that IF he was going to be banned, why was he allowed to compete in the first place? (That would apply to anyone, not just him)

You're assuming it had anything to do with the Open.

Maybe it's stuff he would prefer not to be spread.
