Looking to Verify its history and ID. Would like to know any specifics and the year of manufacture if possible.

Single Shot break action 20G Choked with an ejector.

Serial Number in photos A504305 on receiver and 504305 without the A on barrel

Not sure if safe to shoot after I repair the cracked stock? If metal was strong enough for modern shells?

Made by Crescent Fire Arms Co of Norwich,CT

OR it looks like it might be a H&R 1908 due to pictures and information sent to me in the first hour.

for Shapleigh Hardware Company of St. Louis,MO

Let me know if this information is correct or if not, educate me. This forum is the best for finding out new and updated information on older firearms.

Trying to see if I can fix the cracks in the stock or maybe find a good condition stock to repalce it with.

Thanks
