The side profile of the stock to receiver is different than a regular Citori on the 525 and 625. The 325 was introduced in 1993, 425 in 1995, 525 in 2002, and 625 in 2008. Internals most likely the same. Externally, embellished with various styles of stock checkering and receiver pseudo engraving. Possibly some changes in stock dimensions, barrel length, and choke systems. My guess, as I haven't researched it very deeply.

I have a 625 that I’ve been using for several years and have had no problems other than the lower firing pin needing to be replaced about every 15-18000 rounds. It’s built like a tank , heavy enough to absorb recoil , and swings nicely for me. But that’s just me. I did switch over to a Model 32 Krieghoff that I’ve been shooting for about a year It had nothing to do with the 625 not performing.

325s had both chokes and were chopper lump barrels.
The backbored barrels are invector plus in all models
425 and forward were monoblock.
525 upgrades were supposed to be lighter barrels and improved trigger.
525 and 625 had straighter grips with bigger palm swells.
525 and 625 both had the angle on the reciever.
I don't know any differences between the 525 and 625 other than cosmetic.
