Don't know if you even can remove it but if you can't, I have a 28" 870 barrel with Rem chokes that is blued I'll trade you!

 

Thanks for the offer but I am looking for something shorter with rifle sights. I can get a 20" for a really good price but it has the factory camo on it so it doesn't match my shotgun.

 

You may want to check with a couple of the after-market business that "dip" guns. I was looking at one the other day and they advertised removal of existing dipped camo finish. I would imagine it would have to be blued or re-blued at that point. Just a thought.
