Hi, I’m looking for my first o/u for skeet and trap and Churchill’s seem to have a good reputation for the price point. I’ve been using a semi to this point but I love the aesthetics of the o/u and my club only allows a max of two loaded at a time.

I’m struggling to tell the difference, other than slight weights, between the 206 and the 812.

I’d appreciate some insight.

Thanks!

I have the 812. I bought it over the 206 because I'm not a fan of the H style safety. The 812 has a beretta style safety which I prefer. It's now my main grouse gun. I used to use it for skeet and trap but i now use a Fabarm Elos N2 Sporting. Feel free to ask me anything about it. I did have an issuse with FTF the second shot when shooting trap doubles and it got hot. Traced it down to the safety block rubbing on the inside of the stock. Took a dremel to it and it's all good.

They do make an 812 Sporting if you can find one.
