So my goal is to build the most affordable semi automatic "Combat Shotgun" I could build. Decided to go with the Citadel Bosshog 12 gauge shotgun. The 4+1 capacity isn't gonna work so I needed a extension tube. Got a Choate +3 tube extension. I also plan on installing a light , Shell Holder , and a Few Mods.

Here's the other two mods. 1st is the Charging Handle mod. It's the OEM handle with a Polished 45ACP case epoxied on.

Next we have the factory OEM Bolt Release. All I do it drill and tap it for a larger button than the original.

Here's the light install. The Mlok mount turned red after I heated it. I heated the mount so that it would melt ever so slightly into the plastic handguard.

Then I drilled the mount holes from the mount to the plastic handguard. I used the Mlok hardware in reverse. Once I made sure everything was gonna work I used Red thread locker on the Mlok hardware.

Here's the light and switch mounted a little Blue thread locker was used on the Mlok hardware.

I'm well aware that the Velcro strap will melt if the barrel gets hot enough.

Here's the Shell Holder is held in place using a sticker (double sided tape). Some of these tapes now and days are pretty impressive it's no permanent solution.

Here it is all together
Citadel Bosshog $230
Choate +3 Tube $55
Light $40
Shell Holder $4.50
Bolt release mod .05cents
Charging Handle mod .15cents

Here's what I got for $330, fun little project. This shotgun is still under 500 rounds. It has yet to fail. This gun has seen nuthing but target loads 7.5/8 11/4oz 1200-1250fps, again not 1 failure.
