If you have the KO some of those stocks won't accept the unit.

The A400 Xcel is thicker in the pistol grip area over the 391... Just wondering how it compares with a palm swell ?

 

I had Coles install upgraded wood on four Beretta O/U shotguns. I'm a wood whore and am really pleased with the results.

 

I agree! Cole does a great job with what they sell... I'll probably buy the upgrade...

I bought a barely used one, for a decent price. Looks better than the standard stock. I don't think they are worth $1500. To dump $3500 into an A400 doesn't make sense unless you have $ to burn.

Where do you come up with that number? Lots of beautiful finished wood sets for A400's on Coles website for less than 1K.

The original run of 12ga sporting they did within the past year were all in the $1250-$1500 range. They have 2 sets left @$1250. Put one of those on a black A400 or one of the Cole specials and you are in the $3-3.5k range. Even if you put it on a blue xcel it would be $3k.

The lower priced stocks in the $900 range they show now are for 20ga field guns.

 

The wood is fantastic! Glad I pulled the trigger on the Cole's A400 wood! Love the palm swell
