Have a couple questions for anyone who has used Cole’s for gun work
I have a 687 that I bought the stock n action from a friend then bought a set of barrels and they locked up with no fitting being done. Been shooting for a couple years the lever is now straight. Looking at the gunsmith price list looks like I could wind up with possibly over a 1000 or am I possibly over pricing the cost to get gun serviced.
thanks

It is my understanding that Beretta O/U barrels rarely, if ever, fit correctly unless properly fitted to the receiver by a qualified gunsmith. Without fitting there may be accelerated wear. Used barrels may not always be fittable to a particular receiver.

Call Cole's and talk with them, they are the Beretta repair shop of choice and should be able to give you the information you want.

I have used Cole’s to fit a new barrel on my 687. Give them a call you will have all the pricing you need before you get off the phone. They are great people to work with. No surprises & the turn around time was just what they estimated it to be. Since then, I have used them for other jobs and always had a good experience.

Why would you not call them directly and ask? They are great to work with and will answer all your questions.
