WOW. The cardiac Cocks survive a nerve-jangling storm from Missouri!

I can't imagine how our second string QB, Mike Scarneccia, could look that good starting his first game.

We're very lucky to pull that one out, I admit, but I sure am proud of that crowd of youngsters over there.

Gamecocks did good Joe! Congrats, I was pullin' for ya! Now if the Aggies can just handle Kentucky I'll be a happy camper.

The Aggies spoiled Kentucky's unbeaten season 20-14 in OT. This game featured the #1 and #2 running backs in the SEC - #2 came out on top as Trayveon Williams racked up more than twice as many yards as Kentucky's Benny Snell. Kudos to the Aggie D that held the Wildcats to 178 total yards.

Now if the Aggies can quit making stupid mistakes - the game should have ended in regulation 14-7 in the Aggies' favor but for a careless fumble by QB Kellen Mond with about 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter that became a scoop-and-score to tie the game up.

The Wildcats' kicker missed a long FG attempt in OT, Williams scored a TD on a tough 10 yard run to put the game away.

Huskers are now 0-5, if the offense would give the defense some help we would be ok, seemed like the defense played 3/4 of the game, can't win games that way :( :( :(

Oklahoma has been overrated all season, and the Longwhorns will be overrated on Monday after a close win over the Sooners. 93 points scored in that game - I've said it for years, they don't play defense in the Big 12 (-2-2+1+1).

Today's action in the SEC:

Vanderbilt at Arkansas - the Hawgs are favored by as slim a margin as possible

Florida at Georgia - again, the Dawgs are favored by a point. This will be a good one

Kentucky at Missouri - Mizzou is favored by 7 and will expose the Wildcats. Still, pulling for Kentucky

Tennessee at South Carolina - the Gamecocks are 9 point favorites. Go Chickens!

Texas A&M at Mississippi - the oddsmakers call this one in favor of the cowbells by a point, but I say BS. Kirk Herbstreit is shocked  shocked  I say that the Aggies are underdogs in this one!

Alabama, LSU, Auburn, and Ole Miss get a rest this week.
