Did a search on this page and since nothing was too recent, wanted to ask about the CZ 1012. Have seen spotty reviews. Some good, some bad. My LGS is selling these for $379.99 on Black Friday and at that price I think it seems hard to pass up. Thoughts? Anyone here running one and had any luck?

I’ve been looking at inertia driven shotguns for quite some time, love the looks and feel of the Affinity but don’t have the cash for one now.

Along the same quality as Girsan, Hatsan, and several other low end autoloaders made in Turkey. There will be several on here who swear by them, but IME when you get an autoloader that cheap, you get what you pay for. CZ should have a decent warranty and Inertia guns are a simple design, so it may be worth giving one a try. Shoulder one, if it fits you and you like it, buy it. Here are some other brands that sell Turkish made shotguns to consider:

Stoeger M3000/M3500. Made in Turkey but owned by Beretta/Benelli. Decent warranty

Weatherby Element. Made by ATA and imported by Weatherby. 5 year warranty.

ATA NEO. Basically the same gun as the Weatherby, the warranty just isn’t quite as good.

Yildiz A71. Usually found on the rack at Academy sports

The aforementioned Girsan 312.

The Weatherby and Stoeger are likely the most expensive of the ones listed at around $500 to $600, but they also have the best support when the gun fails. I’m sure I’ve left a bunch out, but those are just off the top of my head.
