The gun does say made in USSR, I have been told that the number before the serial number indicates that it is pre 1984, and that there is a chart for the serial numbers, but thats all i can find out. I did send an email to the Baikal home company, but unfortunatly no reply as yet, any leads, suggestions gratefully accepted.
I don't know of any chart but I could be wrong. I would guess that it is probably from the 70's-early 80's.
