I own a Fausti DEA and it looks very similar, my DEA has been a great shotgun.

 

The SKB is a very good shotgun.

 

I had an SKB quite a while back- O/U 12ga. Sold it but it was a solid gun. The 200e looks really nice- made in Japan, weighs 6lbs, 6oz. F/M chokes - so I would need them opened up to IC/M probably. 28inch barrels. Wish I could shoulder it though- wondering if its barrel heavy or if the weight sits b/w your hands- which is what I prefer.

 

I head back from Fausti. They said it is much like the DEA but with some mods (not specified). Weighs 6lbs.

 

Quick follow up. I did purchase the Fausti BC500 from Bass Pro (20ga). Beautiful gun. Nice fit/finish. Comes in a nice case. Took it out for some planted chukar/pheasant. Balance is at the hinge pins, swings well, shoots well. Overall, I really like it. Only issue is the weight. Bass had it listed at 5.9lbs. I contacted Fasuti before purchase- they said the same. On my scale its 6.8. Considerably heavier- I would have preferred it to be closer to 6. Happy to post some pics if anyone is interested.

It’s a very nice gun Ron but if they told me 6 pounds and it was actually 6.8 it would be going back.

 

Yes, it was a tough call. I decided to keep it b/c it felt so nice in my hands. I won't be lugging it around long distances and it is similar in weight to my Silver Pigeon 20g. I would have preferred a lighter gun but its not going to collect dust in my safe- it will definitely get used.

 

Did you ever find out the difference between this and DEA. I'm in similar situation.

 

No, never found out anything specific. Its a nice gun but after shooting it for a full season last year, I wish it was lighter. I might try and sell it. Very nice gun though.
