Here is what I understand. Historically, they have manufactured guns for the US market to the price point/quality guidelines of various importers over the years. In this instance the quality of the guns varied, but it was more dictated by the importer, and not necessarily indicative of the quality that Fausti could produce.

As the three daughters have taken over the running of the company, and the creation of Fausti USA to import Fausti guns directly, they are trying to reshape their image as a quality arms manufacturer. They have a variety of guns available at a fairly broad price point (from moderately expensive entry level double guns to high priced models), but by all accounts the quality is very good.

I have one of the better Fausti sxs and really like it. I only have a couple thousand rounds through it but it is a light fun gun to shoot. Unless things have changed in the last year most Fausti guns are not proofed for steel shot. Just something to keep in mind if you plan to shoot steel.

 

I have wondered the same thing. While I am a big fan of the middle and younger sister, I really know little about the quality of their guns. Some have etched engraving which I don't like the looks of. I'd like to hear from people who own and shoot them. They used to advertise hammer guns, but I haven't seen any lately.
