Forest City Gun Club in Savannah, GA is excited to announce that the 2016 GSCA State Championship will be "driven" by Georgia Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge & Ram, centrally located in Statesboro, GA. Reiterating their support for sportsmen throughout the region, Georgia Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge & Ram is also proud to sponsor Saturday evenings dinner festivities.

Also, BREDA Shotguns has stepped up to sponsor both the "BREDA Cup" Friday Pre-lim and a Main Event course for the state shoot. The Top 3 finishers from each class, M through E, in the BREDA Cup (Prelim) will be invited to participate in a Saturday night shoot-off under the stadium lights and coordinated around dinner. The winner will take home a brand new BREDA 930i Sporting or BREDA Grizzly shotgun!

I've been to many state shoots over several different states and I can say first hand that the Georgia Association consistently puts on a great shoot. Sometimes in other places the state shoot (and all the work) gets delegated to the host club with varying results. Not so in Georgia. Their organization is strong and effective and focused on putting on a crowd pleaser of a shoot.

Combining the Georgia Sporting Clays Association with Forest City Gun Club is called a shooter's Win-Win! Really looking forward to this one.

Thanks for the nice words. This year's shoot will be one to attend. We have Rick Hemingway and crew setting targets. There will be a shootout for a shotgun and our second annual Dick Phillips Invitational shootout after our annual meeting on Saturday night. This will have a cash purse from donations for Ladies, Juniors, and Sub Juniors in a head to head format.

There will be tokens given away to our main event entries. Stay tuned for more information.
