Thanks for that Old Fart, a very interesting and detailed read.

Glad I stick to 'scatterguns' and don't have all the red-tape that comes along with owning rifles etc...

Give it time !
I don't know if you've had a chance to look at the consultation document on changes to existing legislation, via the link that I posted earlier, but some of the potential changes there should sort things out ! :(

Some of these proposals, if implemented, could be quite damaging, especially if you extrapolate the situation to consider the way that such legislation creeps into place in the UK.
