Ford vs Chevy = Remington vs Winchester?

When I was growing up back in the 1950's and 1960's, a person was either a Ford pickup man or a Chevy pickup man. And it always seemed the Ford people all shot Remington guns and used Mec reloaders. Whereas the Chevy people all shot Winchester guns and used Bair or Pacific reloaders. It would be interesting today to relate particular car and truck owners with the guns and reloading equipment they use today. Well, to start, I came from a Chevy family and we all owned Winchester Model 21's and Model 12's, and reloaded with Bair presses. Now I have a GMC SUV, reload on an original family owned Bair 360 press and shoot a Winchester Model 12 and a Winchester 101.

Well, since I started this conversation, after reading all of these responses, I guess I will have to admit to not staying in the groove either. Being a Chevy man with Winchester guns and Pacific/Bair reloading presses, after working on my old Chevy Cavalier and my wife's Toyota RAV4, its plain so see when replacing parts on these old cars that they weren't made in the United States either. When I go to the parts store for auto parts and they all say "made in China" on them, its not so much a shock. But when I take the original part off a 2003 Chevy and it also says "made in China" on it. . . . . And I do have a Remington 870. But my favorite shotgun to hunt with is either my Ithaca SKB 100 side by side in 12 gauge or my W. W. Greener side by side.
