Guerini Shooting Vest?

Hi all,

Just ordered my first Guerini, a 12 bore Maxum Sporting with 32
" barrels. Being in CA, I have to wait a while to actually shoot it!!

I seem to recall a couple of threads about logo'd CG shooting vests. Are such available, and if so where?

Will post pics, etc. when I get the gun in my hands...I still can't believe the wife unit went along with (actually encouraged) this one.

Rick,
my sentiments too. I had a small fleet (3) of Miroku Model 10 O/U shotguns. They were all < 1 year old and some quite new. I decided I wanted the Cg Essex Sporter with the stunning English scroll. My Mrs actually liked the gun when she saw it on the net too. I did manage to sell two of my Miroku's (kept the 30 inch Grade 3 sporter which I wont part with, but the sale of the other two financed the Essex.

Will use the CG for sporting clays next year - the Miroku is now my hunting gun.

Only one thing now - which my wife laughed about before - I have to buy an even more expensive gun next time round??

I think the Essex will be my final shotgun purchase - I have two fine shotguns now which means more shooting !!

Cheers

Hi Rick,
Yes CGUSA does have vests and other merchandise available.
Contact them directly for more specific details, info@gueriniusa.com
Here's a recent response from Kathy at CGUSA...

White Tshirt w/ red lettering will have same design as our black one

Navy Tshirt w/ red lettering will have same design as out black one

If you haven't seen the black tee….it has over the left breast a small charcoal horsehead and on the back really large, charcoal horsehead and the words Caesar Guerini (in white)

The vests are usually black and red but can be custom ordered.

Tees are $18. usually range from small to xxxL, baseball hats are $15. , polo shirts are $30., vests are $165.

The US has a different logo. I've just recently had the international logo, same as my avatar, digitized and put onto a new mesh vest for myself, so the locals such as Con can now also get a Caesar Guerini vest to match their guns slips and bags, if they want.

The vest sounds very nice Peter - please advise.

Like I say to all my friends - doesnt matter how you shoot, as long as you look good !!!!!!

Peter and Con,

Thanks for the replies. I should be getting my Guerini Vest any day now...should match up nicely with my Maxum Sport (finally picked it up and shot it yesterday)...handles like a dream. See other CG forum for pics, etc.

I very much appreciate that both of you guys, along with Andrew (aka aslackagain) seem to always respond to we newbies, even if the subject matter is 'old hat' to you. Thanks again for taking the time to make us feel like part of the CG community.

Best regards,
Rick

Rick,
not a problem.

I still have to wait for my Essex Sporting (due to our wonderful gun laws in the arse end of the world!!!!) but it shouldnt be too long.

The CG importer, Pete Tobin has comissioned some nice vests which I will look at too.

Cheers,

Con

Except the vests don't come with the horse head logo on the back neck yoke anymore. I spoke with Victoria at CG USA and she said they had issues with it and stopped doing it.
I have the read one in Large and it fits me well.
They are made by "Shoot The Moon" in Colorado who make Team USA's vests.

Don't worry Mark I have a green one too. I wear it when it's cooler because it has the fabric in the back instead of mesh.
If they made a Maroon vest with CG logo then I would have it.
Alas I must wear the Red one. I must state that I don't look like a Red Raider when I wear it because I look smart, suave, sophisticated & down right handsome in it. So when fellow shooters see me they think oh he can't be a Red Raider he must be an Aggie in disguise. :p

In a side note when I was at Hill Country this past weekend I ran into Jeff Foster of Capitol City fame. CG is sponsoring him with everything imaginable that CG has to market. I acquired mine through more traditional methods. We had matching CG vest, CG hat, and 32" Maxums. It was funny. He only beat me by 2 targets on the main. Must be the gear right. :p
