I can't shoot one gun either SauerGrapes.I shoot a couple of 20's and a couple 12's, when I go.My son is starting to shoot my 1100 because he gets higher scores.I hunt with 20's so I like to shoot them at trap also.I do shoot the best scores with an 1100 in 12 and a peerless in 12 though. But the 20's I have are an 1100 LT and a B-80 browning and they are a joy to shoot.

I shoot a Beretta 687 with tubes for skeet and sporting clays. During hunting season I shoot my Extrema II at sporting clays (unless I really feel like shooting the 28s just one more time). I've got a 391 sporting model sitting in the closet gathering dust. I really don't have a use for it but it is too nice a gun to get rid of...
Gofer

I have two clubs nearby, totaling three courses. I use a 28 semi on one, a 20 O/U on another, and a 12 O/U on the "long" course (where the targets tend to be longer). Since I shoot for fun and hunting prep, it's all good, even if my scores aren't......

I've flirted with lots of beauties over the years. Mostly Brownings and a Ceasar Guerini small ga set, but my current sweaty is my F3 Blaser with 32" 12, 20 & 28 ga barrels.

I shoot mostly sporting, but use it also for some Skeet, usually the 20 ga barrel. All the barrels are the same weight and balance to it always feels the same no matter which barrel is on the gun. Can't wait until they make the 410 barrel in a few more years.

For Trap I have a custom stocked BT-99 with a parallel comb rollover stock from Weinig.

I may not be the best shot around, but I take my sport seriously.

When I was a serious trapshooter, I had two Perazzi MX3 combos. I shot one and kept the other for a spare and/or loaner. This was practically the only one (well, two) I shot throughout the year (and I had a LOT of others).
Several years ago I became less focussed on winning and more on relaxing. I shot the entire 2001 Grand American with a Winchester Model 21 Trap gun. I received plenty of "funny" looks, but had a GREAT time.
Now I shoot everything I own and am enjoying it a lot. My scores have suffered, but not enough to make me change back!

I'll throw my ideas out there. I use a SKB 585 O/U for skeet and sporting clays. Then shoot a SKB GC7 top single for trap. They've proved to be good guns for the money. Oh! I shoot a Savage 204 for ground hogs. That's a sweet gun!!!

Most people go through several guns before settling on one for a given dicipline. Once they have settled, however, those shooting the best scores usually stay with it. In competitive target shooting, it takes thousands of rounds to "become one" with the gun, i.e., the shooting becomes a subconscious function of the brain, body & gun.
i disagree. i switch between a benelli m2 and a browning special skeet with no noticeable differences in my scores. i had the browning for years. bought the m2 with a 21 inch barrel on a whim, first time i shot it i ran the round at skeet. it is the indian not the arrow.

K-32, 4 bbl set for skeet and subguage sporting, and MX8 for sporting clays, 5 std. and fitasc.

I use a 32" 12 gauge, a 30" 20 gauge (both O/U), and a 28 semi for most shooting - depending on where I'm shooting. I have 3 clubs I frequent - one with a 5-stand (28 gauge), one with a decent sporting (20 gauge), and one with 2 courses (12 and 28).

Probably why my scores seem stuck in a rut at times, but it is fun shooting that 28!!

Let's see, I shoot mostly SC and over the last 6 months I have shot:

Benelli M2
Benelli Sport
Beretta 391 Sporting
Beretta 391 Parallel Target
Beretta 682 Greystone
Beretta 391 20Ga Field
Sig TT-25
Browning 20Ga Citori

As you can see, I'm in it for the guns, not the scores.
