I shot at that club once. They allowed break open guns only and no jeans or shirts without a collar. Kahiki shorts only if you want to wear shorts. Take it for what it's worth.
Hudson Farm has a different business model then most sporting clays courses, just as Augusta National has a different business model than a lot of other golf courses. As long as it works for them, I have no complaint with their policies - I can either choose to play it their way or not go.
Definitely keeps the riff raff away. I'm not cheap but the lesson thing pissed me off. I don't even mind paying for a trapper. Since I'm in the area I'll stop and shop for shotguns. Sounds like they have a good collection of used SXS's.
Went out there to visit yesterday. Gorgeous grounds and facility. Don't have time to shoot this year but will come back on return trip. Looks like Shooting Sportsman was correct in their evaluation. Griffin and Howe facility was also nicely done.
