I could not find a junior or ladies Baikal, I don't think they exist or at the minimum, are extremely difficut to locate. So, I recently purchased a regular (full sized 28") IZH27 Sporting in 20 gauge for my wife. The LOP was way to long so I had a local gun fitter fit the gun to her. He cut 1 3/4" off the stock and installed a moveable/adjustale but plate. Total cost for the gun fitter was $150.00 for everything. It made all the difference in the world for her. Total investment at this point including tax is $750.00. Thats cheaper than SHXX for a custom fitted skeet O/U. She hasn't broken 20 yet, but for a screaming NJ Democrat who prior to meeting me, thought all guns were evil, isn't doing to bad at the range.
