I had a Super X that was engraved at Virginia Gun Works that got me to get in touch with Ken Hurst. After discussion I met with him and had him engrave a field grade shotgun. I had some framed prints of the dog and quail and gave them to Ken and met with him during the engraving work. A friend of mine closer to home did the stock work andmcheckering with wood from Wenig.

Nice to see someone else thinks the Super X1 is worthy of special treatment. Ken didn‘t do my gun but I took some inspiration from his work when I spoke with the engraver who then worked on my gun. The result is a combination of Browning Midas, bulimo style, and quail accents to compliment the theme.

Here are a couple of pics of my Super X. The engraver suggested the skeletonized trigger - a pretty neat feature in my opinion. 🙂
