That's a beauty. You're fortunate to have known Ken and blessed to have such a fine example of his work. He was one of the nicest, most upstanding men to have ever graced the boards. Your buddy's stockwork is a nice compliment to the project. Thanks for sharing.

Your unique Super-X is a beaut. Ken Hurst was quite the character in addition to being a fine craftsman/artist. Your friend who did the wood seems to know what he's doing as well. Nice work all round.

It does not appear that Ken signed your gun. Is his signature hiding and cannot be seen in your photos ?
He engraved your gun a few years after he did mine.

Nice to see someone else thinks the Super X1 is worthy of special treatment. Ken didn‘t do my gun but I took some inspiration from his work when I spoke with the engraver who then worked on my gun. The result is a combination of Browning Midas, bulimo style, and quail accents to compliment the theme.

Here are a couple of pics of my Super X. The engraver suggested the skeletonized trigger - a pretty neat feature in my opinion. 🙂
