Break, I left a post in the trap shooters forum. If I did not want to shoot doubles, I might have bought a KX6S, instead of My K80 TS. Try before You buy, if possible. KX6S is a much simpler design than K80 TS. Logic would suggest that the KX6S could go longer between maintenance, if used under similar conditions.

 

I am not special, but I can speak to the action and barrel. My KX-6 is a purpose built trap target breaking machine. The action is simple with a great trigger. It swings well and I can pick it up after not shooting trap for awhile and shoot decently with it. The Specials definitely look better with the nicer wood.
