Considering their polished reclaimed lead.

Good product?

Good company to deal with?

Have not heard of them before. So, no direct experience with their shot. Suspicious that although they seem to know the right things to do when reclaiming shot, they make no claim that they screened it to separate sizes, so you may get mixed size shot, mainly 7.5 to 9 pellet sizes. Decide if that mix of sizes is something you will accept.

If you must get it shipped to you, almost no reclaimed lead will be "worth it". I see they include shipping, which is why their shot price quotes are close to what new shot is sold for in vendors with "good" prices. If you are close enough to drive to them in Aubrey TX, have them quote you a picked-up price!

You need to consider how important your quality of reloads will be if you use reclaimed shot. If you are "just beginning" or shooting "pasture pool", then it will make no difference if you use reclaimed or "virgin" new shot. If you are competing in a league or registered match in trap or sporting clays, then new shot will help you a lot on long targets.

Good product?
So, it's something you need to reach your own conclusions on, really. I would not use it for competition events or through valuable shotguns without a LOT of checking on quality. good luck, garrisonjoe

Thanks for your thoughts.

I've been shooting reclaimed here in Florida for quite a while. It is a mix of sizes but nicely processed and does not give me grief even through the .410 machine. No other "stuff" seen so far.

I don't shoot competition...just plinking at those clays.

Thanks again!

Remember to sweep it with a magnet to take out the steel. I used to buy reclaimed from the local club in Dunnellon; it came from the fields of the clubs - even there there were some 5s and 6s in the mix, steel and sometimes some sand/rock - that can score your barrel

I’m not far from their location in Aubrey, Tx and have used a lot of their reclaimed shot. Mostly for practice and league. I’ve had really good luck with it.

Don’t have any experience with reclaimed shot from other companies.

Side note, they recently mined my local club and I was able to watch them work for 1/2 an hour or so. Fascinating process!!
