My 500 was originally bought as the Cruiser with that brutal pistol grip and short barrel. I finally decided to get an extra 28" barrel that wasn't an arm and a leg. Found a vendor in TX, with whom I have zero complaints on price or service, and received it 1 week after my placement. I open the USPS box and inside is the cardboard box with the barrel. On the underside of the box, and the barrel, it says "Made in China". Seriously, Mossberg? You couldn't have shipped them some from Mexico at least?
