Lockup is good, firing pins look OK

CAM 76 - 18.4

1 star is full - the other might be star dash
76 means 3" chamber??

Navy Arms did a brisk business with Italian gunmakers, practically inventing the replica arms business. They also imported a variety of old military long arms and some new shotguns.

The gun in the photos has the typical 1960's - 1980's "Brescia" action featuring a flat Greener-type crossbolt lock-up which was employed on many Italian entry level O/U's of that era. The "Accicio Vickers" translates as Vickers Steel, produced by Vickers in the U.K.. The 18.4 is the bore diameter in millimeters. A single star indicates full choke. The letters "AL" within a square indicate a date code of 1983. The letters "RL" withn an oval appears to be the maker's mark which I can't I.D. The last contact address I have for Navy Arms is: info@ows-ammo.com. You may wish to forward your pix of the gun to them and ask if they can I.D. the maker from their records.

the Universal Overwing 2036 and the Marocchi M83 are nearly the the same shotgun.

Both made in Brescia for export
