if, I wanted to buy an o/u shotgun in right hand what gun makers have a neutral cast. I know browning does. what about their older (superposed) shotguns. I purchased the 725 field model. and feel this info would be helpful for future LH purchasers.

My 1956 Superposed 20 gauge (see my avatar) is dead neutral, as is my 28 gauge Ruger Red Label.
good to know about the red label. ruger seems to always produce quality. wondering about some of the Winchester o/u

My experience is that both Browning and Beretta produce mainly neutral cast stocks for the US market. But I've seen a number of examples that had cast off. My advise is to check before you buy,

Regarding Browning Superpose, I don't remember seeing one with cast, but I'm sure there are a tiny percentage with cast.
Browning says (phone call) no cast. Beretta says 1/8 to 1/4 in.

I shoot lefty as well and love my Citori 725 Field. I also added a Cynergy Field this year and it's every bit as impressive as the Citori. I'm shooting 90% on pheasants this season. As you said, Browning is noted for their neutral stocks and I can definitely tell the difference when i shoulder other O/U's in a store. I love Beretta's too, but they just do not fit me like the Browning's.

Both my Ruger Red Labels are neutral. The Browning 725 Feather I shouldered is cast off, but not as pronounced as many other manufacturers (FYI, Browning customer service will tell you it's neutral). A lesson is trying rather than believing. I just bought a FABARM Elos D2 Reverse after giving my Rugers to my son.
