I just bought a new CG Summit sport w 32”. Installed the DTS recoil and barrel weight. Gun shoots nicely but I was wondering how to minimize recoil with the DTS. I have compressed the springs to 0.5” each (front 0.5” and back 0.5”) and left all 3 weights on. Is that the most?
With the barrel weights on the front most slot, the gun balances nicely for trap. I shot skeet without the barrel weights, making the gun more lively.

i was hoping to maximize the recoil reducer.

I guess I believed their propaganda. This is directly from their website: “DTS trigger system with two trigger pull weight options, take up, over travel and length of pull adjustments. Factory selective release triggers available in single and double release for 12g.”
Take up is adjusted with a tiny torx screw close to the trigger blade. Pull weight is changed by moving a pin in the trigger group and it's not recommended as a DIY adjustment, although I'd suggest that anyone who owns suitable pin punches etc would also likely have the skill to do it.

That tiny torx screw seemed to adjust my over travel. my trigger is all the way back…with the torx screw rotated counter clockwise, my trigger now stops on the guard just as the firing pin shoots. Did you notice any change on pretravel? I seem to have as much pretravel as before.
