Yeah, I thought of going that route. But there are a few issues with it. First, that will take even more time. I need to find someone who I trust to do it. Then who knows what the refinish will look like and the fore-end would need to be refinished to match. That all costs money. Then if it doesn't come out the way I want it, I'm outta luck with any recourse from Zoli since I chose to modify the wood.If you love that piece of wood a lot, another option would be to have the comb cut down to the correct height for you and then refinish the hole butt stock.
