I had the opportunity to buy Nobel Sport, 1 oz, 1200 fps, #8s at a relatively decent price, so I bought two flats to try. Their boxes, and individual shells, are marked "TARGET low recoil". The boxes indicate "Made in Italy", which is a bit of a surprise as it is my understanding there is (was?) a huge shortage of Smokeless Powder in Europe and not to expect Euro ammo for sale in USA.

I examined a few individual shells. I immediately noticed they are bright orange plastic, six star crimp, silver (steel?) rim. No Cheddite stars. Individual boxes are stacked sideways in the flat carton.

I hope to give them a short test drive on Tuesday. I'll report back after that.

Aside - Nobel Sport or NobelSport?

I hope they work better than the low recoil 20's I bought for my daughter, 1/2 got stuck in the chamber, completely fouled up my CSMC RBL ejectors and had to retire the gun. Borrowed a Beretta O/U from the range and that wasn't much better. Had to stop and pry the spent shells out of the chambers, I'm done with Nobel

The only shells that I have bought this year have been Nobel Sport or Aguilla. Last year, I bought Bornaghi. Haven't had an issue with any of them.
IMHO, They are much better than comparatively priced domestic shells.

The stars are not an indication that the hull is made by Cheddite, if you order a sufficient quantity of hulls they will headstamp to your requirements.

While their English translation is crude here is a link to Cheddite's website where they state "With over 36 colors available and the ability to mark the bases, our cases are fully customizable". If you order enough hulls they will headstamp with "J. Fred Muggs".

I would not be surprised to find that Cheddite makes hulls for a number of shotshell manufacturers. And I'll wager there are other hull manufacturers who will headstamp to your requirements if your order is large enough.

Nothing wrong with them. I’ve shot dozens of flats of them with no problems at all. I shot them and some other 1200 fps shells of different brands through a chronograph and the velocity was somewhat lower than others. I would suspect they are 100 or so fps slower than federal, Remington, Winchester etc. ive Heard that euro shells are slower than domestic shells. Something about the distance from the muzzle that each are measured. They are definitely soft shooting. And break targets fine. during Covid times they were everywhere it seemed. I switched to Bornaghi shells a couple years ago. Another Italian shell. Always available at Able Ammo and in my opinion the best bang for your buck. Especially when you catch a free shipping promo. A couple buddies and I buy them a pallet at a time, always free shipping and usually a couple bucks a flat cheaper.

I did something risky yesterday and bought 25 flats of Nobel Europe 1250 1oz 7.5s without ever having shot them before. I might have purchased Rios instead for a slightly higher price but Shyda's was out of them. But under $80/flat with the bulk purchase discount was just too attractive to pass up.

I did swing by Central PA Sporting Clays on the way home and shot 100 of them. No complaints so far. They all went bang and the targets that should have broken did so.
