I live in Asheville, and I shoot (Not as often as I like) at the Buncombe County Wildlife club.

If you get a chance to go up to Hot Springs, about an hour north of asheville, Go shoot a round at fowler farms. Good clay course and nice folks running the place. They also run a fun shoot every spring and fall.

Also Ken Deyton at Triggers Traps and Trout is about an hour from you as well. He has a clay range and is availible by appointment nights and weekends. Take a couple of friends and LOTS of shells. He throws for $20 a hundred, as fast as you can shoot em. If you want to work on a particular presentation or get a new shooter going, Ken will accomodate your needs. he also has a bow range, so if you Bow shoot, you can make the drive well worth your while.

I can second 16'r on Fowler Farms. It's a great place to shoot and if you can get Mrs. Fowler to fix you one of her famous hamburgers while your there it makes the trip that much better.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!

Welcome aboard!
Have you tried the Buncombe Trap and Skeet range over at Fletcher?
Haven't been there myself but am sure you can get the number form the phone book and give them a call about hours of operation.

PM me your email address and I'll forward your name to the right folks. If you're in Yanceyville, having access to RCGC would be nice. I live in Asheboro and get up there as often as I can. I wish I were closer.
