the damn recoil pad off my new m2 fell of in the duck blind and now is gone why on earth would they puta screwless recoil pad on a shot gun. took the thing off once and put it back on all the way so can't see buying another one. I probley will end up selling the shot gun. There is no way I'm going to try and modify a 1000 dollar shot gun. This is bull ****.

I have shot my SBE II alot here lately, and have been on around 16 OOS hunts. Duck/goose season, does not open here until Friday.
No problems with the recoil pad at all. In fact it's a pain to get off.
I just bought a second SBE II, and the recoil pad on it is just as tight as the first.
Call Customer Service, and they will help you.

Well today I called there customer service and the women took my name and adress and my recoil pad is on the way. 
She did say to spray with rubber addhesive so it will hold better
