Any thoughts other than purchasing a new pad, for a pad that is too stickey or gummy and collects dirt bad which is transfered to your shirt? Is there a product that would seal the pad, etc.?

Thanks for thoughts.

TT - I don't know about that.

Was wade fishing in Por O'Connor for trout and redfish many years ago with a friend, and we were wading in bluejeans. Our crotches hurt so bad we were walking bowlegged that night. Went into the local store (only one) and ask for baby powder and vaseline - the cashier (a man) looked at us as we were walking out the door and said "you boys have a wonderful time tonight!"

My limbsaver pad is also very sticky. It is only two years old. I thought I may have gotten some "deet" on it while turkey hunting.
Limbsaver pads are not, and do not get sticky or goey.

HOWEVER: about two years ago, one full batch was sent out that was undercured that Limbsaver didn't know about until long after the fact. As a result of that, after a short while some oil can leech out . . . and, you bet-- you have a gummy pad.

Limbsaver has mentioned this, and will be happy to replace anyone that got a "gooey" at no charge with their thanks and apology. About 2 years ago is when it happened, no issues before or since.

Low gun and FITASC shooters have been using electrical tape for years.
i second the electrical tape... i've used it on my 391's for a couple of years now and it works great and i only have to put it on once or twice a season. i hesitated using it cuz i was told it would get mushy, gooey, etc but i found none of that to be true even in 100+ degree summers.
