While not a question, we took a pair of Remington 1100 magnums out to pattern a box of 3 inch stuff with different chokes. Both guns are early 70s, only difference is mine wears the 10101 limbsaver in a synthetic stock, his is an original brown Remington pad with the factory wood stock. We switched guns guns a few times and I would have thought Witt the heavier wood stock his would handle recoil better, this turned out to be far from accurate. Mine had significant less recoil and it was more of a push than a jab. I don't know if it meets the limbsaver's 74% less stuff but when compared side-by-side the was a definite difference. This thing really works. Thought some people wondering about this would want to know.

I bought the Remington Supercell pad as well and fired both. The Limbsaver pad did have more stick on the clothes when shouldering, but really like the grab it has when swinging the gun while firing three quick shots. It stayed in place. The SuperCell was easier on the clothes while shouldering but when swing the gun and firing fast, it had a tendency to move around on my shoulder under the fast 3 shot recoil. We were shooting at clays and the Limbsaver stayed on the shoulder better for me, especially for awkward aiming shots. For heavy 3in shells I found the Limbsaver was better. If you shoot one shell at a time or slow fire, I would prefer the SuperCell. I took the Supercell back to Cabelas. Both are fine recoil pads that significantly help reduce the recoil over the standard Remington brown pad.

My 1100 G3 came with a Limbsaver made for Remington. I shot with it for six years and it was a great pad. Most of my shooting was single shots with superhandicap shells in the game of Skrap. I replaced it when I noticed it was starting to get a little stiff (nothing like a real old pad, but not new) with a new SuperCell. Fit was perfect.
