Rizzini br110 Sporter vs. CX

Hello,

I was ready to pull the trigger on a Browning CX, or similar, then came across the Rizzini.

Has anyone shot the br110 Sporter model or can provide any insight? I really liked the way it shouldered but shooter information is limited (I see the field version has good marks).

The tried and true Citori had me feeling really comfortable with a purchase and the ability to sell it easily if I wanted to upgrade, but something about the Rizzini has me wanting to jump ship.

I have not shot the BR110 but do have a BR320 combo. I also have several Citoris.
My Rizzini fits fine and shoots fine.
It is much prettier than any Citori I have ever had.

Rizzini has had about 4 US distributors (Sig,Coles,CSMC and now Fierce) over the about the last 10 years. Something to keep in mind.

I had a BR for a while, shot very good and never let me down. I just thought it was a little light.

The Brownings are such workhorses; tried, true, proven and timeless. I've never regretted the 4 I've purchased and still have.

Yes they are. But sometimes you desire a race horse.

Until they break those skinny little legs and then have to be put down.

Browning follows the engineering maximum of when in doubt build it stout. Sometimes you want something properly scaled and sized vs porky. I'm down to only one Browning O/U mainly to hand out to ham fisted people I don't trust with anything better.

I like my Rizzini Artemus, which I bought mainly for the looks of the gun. It seems to be a very well built gun. Also it shoots right where you point it. I have no complaints.

I have brownings and Rizzini's. Both good but the Rizzini fits me better in the field configuration and feels much better in hand. The mechanics are the same and the Rizzini looks better.

I have a BR320 sporter in 20 gauge...sweet shooter...and built really well...my take is that it's a fine gun with sexy lines...

I own multiple Rizzini's and have never been disappointed with the quality. I unfortunately cannot say the same of of my last Browning purchase, a Cynergy CXS. It cost less than the Rizzini, so it's not a completely fair comparison, but the gun was generally disappointing and left a bad enough taste in my mouth that I don't really consider Browning when purchasing firearms.

My first real sporting gun, after the attempt with the Cynergy, was a Rizzini Vertex, kind of the precursor to the BR110 Sporter. I have be quite happy with it and I'm currently considering stepping up to a higher end Rizzini. I've also owned Berettas and keep coming back to Rizzini as a sweet spot of finish, build quality, and value.
