FYI, Scheels has a sale right now on shells that includes most brands, with free shipping on Fiocchi and Winchester shells (no surcharge either).

Gentlemen,

I do wish Scheels carried 2 1/2" shells for our vintage guns, I would definitely purchase from them, and have them shipped to Pa.

all the best,

I placed an order for a flat of the FIOCCHI 12GA Target Max which is an exclusive for Scheels. They are in the construction phase of a new store located in Cedar Park, Texas. I'm pretty sure we will visit them quite often. Especially since it is located between us and our Grand Boys,

In addition to the 5% reward points if you use promo code JULY25 when you check out you get 10% off up to $50 when spending $500.

But it is limited to one time use and only up to $50 off. If you didn't use the promo code might be worth calling them and seeing if they will still honor it.

Knew the sale was coming with the member discount so when it started Saturday morning at 0430 ordered 80 boxes of 1 oz. #8 12 ga. I'm set for #7.5 shot 1 oz. Then got an email that my order had been cancelled day before yesterday, no reason why but the shells were no longer listed. Then they showed up again and I ordered 70 boxes this time, it now says shipped direct from the supplier. Yesterday they shipped. This morning have been trying to do the same order to get the additional $50 off but it will not reduce the price with code JULY25, so looks like it is one time use.

I finally gave in and just ordered another 7 flats. Because with the reward points it actually works out to $7.59 a box, sort of. And my first order worked out to $6.79 a box. Plus tax, but delivered to the house. Ammo is the only reason I have the Scheels and Cabela's cards. Can't reload 12 and 20's at those prices anymore.

I always buy the Fiocchi shells when they are on sale and have free shipping. I just ordered #8 and #7.5 and they will be delivered today. For $7.99/box (we pay no tax on guns and ammo in WV), they are cheaper than the lousy Federal shells I can buy at Walmart. The Fiocchi shells shoot great in my O/U.

Well dang. I was too clever and bought in December for a dollar a box more. For years there were ammo sales during the Christmas shopping seasons. My understanding was the company accountants wanted to reduce inventory before the new year for accounting/tax reasons. I don't remember seeing price reductions this time of year.

I can guarantee that they are not just clearing out what's on their shelves. First, considering everyone I know who has ordered ammo in the last 5 days would have depleted the shelves at several stores. Second, the ammo many of us bought is being shipped from the manufacturer, not Scheels. Both Federal and AA for me.
