Got a couple of new "old" shotguns to try out. I hunt mainly now with shotguns. There is more and more of civilization close by and the worry for stray bullets.

Hunting on private, state and CoE land.

I thought I was the only one that squirrel hunted with a bp rifle. I picked up a CVA .36 squirrel rifle a few years ago and I have a lot of fun hunting with it now and then.

The .36? It just makes a .36 caliber hole straight through with no expansion. If I loaded it hotter it might make more of a mess though. :shock:

 

Ah ok, never even seen one of those before, had no idea bout what it would do! :lol:

 

It opens here this morning,will be taking the grandson in the am i hope.i normaly use 1 of my marlin 22's or my ruger 22 pistol.i work every saturday as a normal but taking off next sat to huntthe dove opener here in e Tn.hope all have a safe hunting season
