I need some help from the community - my gun doubled and split open (beyond repair) the head so I need a new stock. I live in Minnesota so I'm looking in the upper Midwest for someone who can build a replacement. I'd like something custom fit as I shoot left handed and this is my preferred clays gun - pistol grip, palm swell, long LOP, etc. The wood can be simple and basic as the gun was inexpensive and I'd like to keep it that way. Thanks in advance!

Post a picture of the parts of your split butt stock. If you're looking for functional, it's hard to believe it's broken beyond repair.

In the worst case, a glue up with a carbon fiber filament wrap can be attractive, functional, and brutally strong. Maybe something more cosmetic can be done for much less than a custom made stock.

When in doubt, DOUG CARPENTER (North Madison, Ohio) is going to be your hero.

The other alternative is to buy another GR4 as a parts gun. $$$$.

The 42x Beretta guns are the same as the GRx guns. The US importer at the time just preferred the “GL” naming convention over the “42” naming convention that Beretta used.

The stock in the link below will fit a GR, but it doesn’t list a gauge, so I would reach out to Numrich, and ask what gauge gun this stock fits. They’re pretty good about answering questions.
