I'm looking for a friend. He hunts a bit, and lately has joined me a couple times for sporting clays. He has a couple pump guns that beat him up when shooting a 100 rounds at a time. So I'm trying to find a decent semi-auto that I can recommend. So, I would like to hear your experiences with the SX4.
Thanks

The SX4 is a very good autoloader and the 12 gauge model is offered in either 3” or 3.5”. If your friend has no need in shooting 3.5” shells, the 3” model would be a better choice as it will cost less. Another good option for a soft shooting 3” 12 gauge autoloader is the Beretta A300 Ultima. Both the SX4 and A300 Ultima are also offered in 20 gauge models as well.

You may want to suggest he try shouldering and handling different shotguns before purchasing. It would be even better if you’re able to find someway for him to put some rounds down range with the models he’s interested in to see which he likes best.

Bought a Winchester Super-X Model 4 last October ,as a back up gun to my Winchester Super-X Model 3.Used it a few times. The gun worked well.Bagged game with it on its first trip in the field.:)Both my guns are the 3 inch version.

A friend of mine has one and uses his a lot.He has to shoot left handed ,due to an eye injury and plans on getting one of the new left hand versions of the gun,as soon as he can find one.
