I believe that your "Raptor" was improperly marked because the "Viper" is the more finished gun. Tristar indicates that on their website as shown below.

I believe the earlier Raptors were wood, but appear to be offered only in synthetic now.

 

Early this summer I was in a big sporting goods where they had the 2-tone raptors Your talking about. the ones at wally world all have camo stocks. I think the Raptors are made by Kral . the G2 Vipers are made by Armsan .
I didn't look at the Raptor as all the guns are 15' behind the counter , I wasn't going to wait for a clerk to find Me.
The G2 vipers are available in all gauges. the Raptor in 12&20.
As far as internal differences I have a Viper , I don't know how different they are apart. Tristar could tell You.

 

.45colt is correct. Raptors are made by Kral, and Vipers are made by Armsan.

The Raptors with wood furniture are "special order" editions that are made for specific retailers, and aren't displayed on the TriStar website.

 

Do the viper g2 SR 12g an the raptor 12g have the same buttstock? Like could i swap them if i had both? Just wondering bc with the raptor theres an adaptor from ATI that has a telescoping mill spec stock id love to put on my G2 but not sure if it would fit.
